Why did I have to get members to start my blessed family life instead of the qualification being based upon fufillment of the first blessing - the perfection of character?
I think lineage can be compared to the unification group dynamic. Either you are in or you are out. If you conform to the group or lineage then you are in and if you don’t you are out of the lineage and out of the group. I say this because the blessing is conditional based upon fulfillment of our responsibility. It’s not an absolute change that is still there despite your behavior. A person gets blessed and keeps their lineage intact by not having sexual relationship outside their marriage. If they do then the lineage is restored again by forgiveness. So the lineage is conditional not actual and absolute. I was also thinking about what it means to fulfill your responsibility when you are blessed. According to the ideal Adam and Eve should have gone through their period of growth and matured or become perfect before they were married and fulfill the second blessing of having a family. It’s different for us because God is faced with the real situation of people who are not at the top of the growth stage and in the direct dominion of God - or perfect. So the blessing being conditional based on fulfillment of responsibility could mean the perfection or maturation of our relationship with God based upon love. So in the course of restoration we get the second blessing and then work on the first and so fulfill part or maybe all of our responsibility. Of course I’m sure that leaders of a group can add on many other things that they consider from their point of view to be part of the responsibility. Let’s just say it’s essentially developing a nice loving heart for somewhere to start. Okay so the responsibility is to grow to mature character centered on God. If that is the case why did I need to get members of a group to start family life instead of my qualification to start family life determined by the quality of my character? Now people getting blessed don’t have to fulfill any external accomplishment like that to get blessed and start their family life. So the qualification to start my family and fulfill the second blessing was determined by a group wanting more members. And this instead of conforming to the ideal of maturation of character centered on God.
