I Remember
Back in the mid to late 1980s I was working on the ‘Interdenominational conferences for clergy’ ( I.C.C) this was primary aimed to get christian ministers to go to Korea and attend lectures (dp) and visit holy sites of the church in Korea. The problem that we faced was that non or very little of the ‘main-line’ churches took any interest, also Moon’s politics were too conservative, on the other end evengelical churches didn’t want anything to do with moon as he proclaimed himself to be the messiah.
We were left with going to the black non-denominational churches, the response was better but problems soon became apparent. Many of those who did go to Korea were not theologically trained, many who went were deacons or elders and some who went didn’t even attend conferences or lectures they were too busy sight seeing on their own
Back then it was important that the “providence” had to be done, it was either quality or quantity and we went for quantity, the numbers had to be acheived at all cost ( think the number for then was 1200 ministers over a number of conferences).
Now today the church is trying to do the same thing, to get Moon proclaimed as the Messiah, this time the target number is 3,000, I have seen it all before and it will end up the same way, it will come to nothing.
When the ministers came back from Korea they were in the “spirit” and wanted to proclaim and witness ,after a while it fizzled out and all we were left with was disappointment, dare say it will happen again no matter what others may say.
I learned my lesson back then that the UC always screws up no matter what it may try to do,it is really rather comical as Shakespeare wrote “A comedy of Errors”.

That’s ALL so true. But now “THE DPES-SECRETS” have been revealed, which explain WHY the LEADER-CENTERED UC/UM “screws up”. The ONLY CURE, is to create a UC Constitution-&-Laws and do HC. It’s a do-or-die CURE, as AT:
