What is on the Moon?

New Truth. False Doctrine. Providential. Cultic. Inspiring. Manipulative. Chosen. Evil.

People say a lot about the Unification Church. Can you give us a chance to tell our stories?

Did someone call Uncle Billy?

Ok, since you all have asked so nicely and just have to know what I think – some of you really need to work on your communication skills – fine, Uncle Billy will cover a few topics for you.

Benjanim and In Jin Nim are not having “an affair.” They are a Blessed Couple, according to the Holy Wine and Blessing vows of the Unification Church. Neither of them are the kind of person that sleeps around. There was no “affair” with Alistair Farrant or anyone else either, except in his dreams perhaps. Women get a lot of that from men. In Jin Moon has 5 brilliant kids she is very invested in, Doctorates in Divinity and Poly Sci, is close friends with the greats of the American Civil Rights Movement and really isn’t interesting in meaningless sexual diversion. She has never used drugs, nor has Ben Lorentzen. She taught we should be living life for True Love, and the Blessing for the sake of our lineage, and despite a generation gap in our church that often expects people to stay in abusive or corrosive marriages, she has walked the razors edge to be true to the Blessing and True Love. She also created a way for kids to have a say in their marriage choices, and in the same way would like say so in her marriage choice, and not just another political marriage chosen by the Royal Court.  In my view had she not lived as she has, then she would be a hypocrite.

In Jin Moon dissolved her marriage to James based on just cause according to Church Law. Although generally Church policy is a secular legal marriage should be finalized before reblessing, this is often waived as a practical matter by executive authority. She did nothing a common divorced member, or even a previously married ACLC Minister could not do.

In fact, this situation could be likened to a Princess who rejects a Royal Wedding to power, position, prestige, and money for the sake of True Love with a commoner. They wedded in the humblest of ways, along with every other Church member, with no pomp and circumstance. “He is not Korean, he is not educated, he is not wealthy, he has long hair!” the Royal Court in Korea is whispering. It is true for many in the Unification Church those are important things. For In Jin Moon, none of those things has any value without True Love. A family life with a loving spouse, maybe a French Bakery or teaching Poly Sci would probably suit her fine.

Had In Jin Nim divorced James earlier, he would have fallen off the wagon and her kids would have no Father. True Parents asked her help at the worst time for her personally, but had she not come forward there would be no American Church. Preston and Kwak would have taken it all. And she told UC Families their BC’s are not lost to God and “lower than Satan” if they had sex, because the Blessing forgives personal and original sin. She brought them back into the Church, helped them heal broken hearts and grow in the love of God, introduced them to each other even, and so many are happily Blessed couples with working relationships now. And IJN never publicly humiliated James for his sins or addictions, she does not kill even those that hurt her. Neither did Ben ever publically accuse his ex wife Patricia to defend himself, where most men certainly would. This is a point of deep heart and affinity that Ben and IJN have very much in common, I think.

I did not throw Patricia Lorentzen out of the New Yorker. When she physically attacked Ben and tried to break his fingers so he can’t play, as she often did during her tenure as his abusive spouse, Security was called and they threw her out. There is an incident report on it as well, so it’s easy to back this up.

As far as documenting Hyun Jin Moon’s personal life of sin, True Father made a conscious decision not to make the issue about his private life, but about his public life. His public life, theft, bullying, abuse of money and people, what could be charged as kidnapping in America, attempting to take over Church boards with lies about Father’s directions and  causing a schism in the Church - these things are bad enough. That is why none of the shocking material has been made public, and it is way beyond my paygrade to go Nuclear on this issue. However, if all the crap on Preston’s part continues it is quite possible International Headquarters will decide to change this policy.

As for In Jin Nim’s “rich life,” it is a matter of public record that for 2 years as head of HSA she paid herself 1/20th the $2.5 Million a year Preston had paid himself, and then 1/10th as much. Last year the American Church took almost no money from the Japanese Church – a huge burden off their backs. And IJN did not feather her nest by abusing her public position, and would not let others do so under her watch
either. Unlike how the Church was run under Chung Hwan Kwak. Under the new Leadership regime, we will see if the Leaders are publicly minded or not, because IJN opened the UC books to the public.

So I have nothing but respect for In Jin Moon – and her European Socialist leaning spouse Ben too!  Hah ha! I’m not her spokesperson, just a casual friend of the Family. But we were all in the UC very lucky I think, to have had a friend like In Jin Moon.
