Drama Drama everywhere, and not a grown up in sight
I guess the Mission Foundation and the Korean leaders who are fighting with each other believe that members are stupid. First the drama of with the Korean True Father put in charge, only to have it annulled by Kook Jin, only to have True Father fire three of his assistants only to have it denied only to have a vicious letter supposedly sent by one of the three fired assistants slandering the one True Father put in charge. It gets only better, and it is not pretty.
familyfed wants to spin this , but they can’t do good job of it. The more they try to spin, the dummer they seem. In an unsigned memo from International HQs, posted on familyfed by none other than Josh “the lecture basher” Cotter, familyfed claims this:

Dear Leaders,
Thank you for your hard work on the front line of providence.
It has come to this office’s attention that a number of rumors have been recently circulated in the mission field and in Korea causing confusion within the organization of this movement. For this reason, because we received a number of communications for region and mission countries, we are sending this clarification from our headquarters.
These rumors allege that Sun-jo Hwang was appointed as the chairman of the movement in Korea; that True Father ordered the immediate dismissal of three executives at the Foundation to Support HSAUWC and providential organizations; that Kook-jin nim resigned from his position and returned to the United States.
On April 11, 2011 (3rd month, 9th day of the heavenly calendar) at the VIP Waiting Room at Incheon International Airport prior his departure from Korea to the United States, True Father clarified this issue in front of Rev. Sun-jo Hwang and other key leaders of our movement, and representative ambassadors for peace in Korea.
During the 52nd True Parents’ Day celebration on April 3, 2011 (3rd month, 1st day of the heavenly calendar) and hoondokhae the following day, True Father had emphasized that there is an organizational hierarchy in the Unification Church, where True Mother stands above Hyung-jin nim and Kook-jin nim and True Father stands above True Mother. He also spoke about this same topic over the next few days on a number of occasions. True Father explained that the organizational hierarchy in our movement is in the order of True Father, True Mother, Hyung-jin nim and Kook-jin nim, and then those next in line.
In relation to this, on the day that True Parents were leaving Korea, Rev. Yong-hyun Moon suggested to True Father twice to have Rev. Sun-jo Hwang appointed as the chairman of the Unification Movement in Korea above Hyung-jin nim and Kook-jin nim. True Father, however, made it clear in the Airport Waiting Room that he could not accept that.
True Father gave instructions to review the issue concerning the personnel changes of the above-mentioned three and that he would make a final decision regarding this after he came back from the United States. Rumors surrounding this issue, however, have spread alleging that True Father had immediately dismissed the three in question. In the Airport VIP Room, True Father (while mentioning that Mr. Bang, who is one of the three executives, has a sharp mind and works very hard) emphasized that all leaders of the Unification movement should love their enemies, forgive them, unite with them in harmony and march forward toward Foundation Day, January 13, 2013. Contrary to the rumors that Kook-jin nim had returned to the United States, Kook-jin nim is still actively engaged in his mission at the Foundation, in Korea, and in Japan according to True Parents’ directions.
All leaders in the Unification movement worldwide should clarify the above issues to the leaders and members on the field, and guide them so that we can move forward in unison for the providence of creating Cheon Il Guk.

Now this is supposed to make it seem like Rev. Yong-hyun Moon was the one trying to appoint Rev. Hwang in a position in the Mission Foundation. You stupid members, please forget that True Father was saying this back in February and March. Loving enemies is what Rev. Hwang is trying to do to the ones who slandered him in letters sent out all over Korea. But not Rev. Ahn, the one supposedly who was fired for writing that slanderous letter. He wants to sue the person who resigned from UPF and wrote a letter explaining why, not forgive and love his enemies. He claims did not write that slanderous letter but it was written on Tim Elder’s computer, Kook Jin’s assistant. He must be the only western member available to blame.
His own words:
“Dear beloved members of the Unification Movement, staff from various providential organizations, how are you?
I am section chief Jin Sun Ahn of the Unification Church Foundation. You all must have been worried for me all night, right? However, I believe that none of you had sympathy towards the maliciously evil email sent by UPF director Dongwon Jung. If I defamed Rev. Sun Jo Hwang’s honor, and if they can claim in front of Heaven and in front of the law that I did this, then sue me for defamation.
One can tell that director Dongwon Jung’s claims are false just by seeing his claim that the author of Kook Jin Nim’s lecture “Strong Korea” is the same person (Jin Sun Ahn) as the author of the “slanderous file” against Rev. Hwang. The “Strong Korea” lecture was made by Timothy Elder on the request of Kook Jin Nim on February 15, 2011. Tim Elder works in the administrative support office and he made the file based on the content that the president of the Foundation requested.
He thinks that I’m the creator of these files just because the author of the file “Strong Korea” is the same person as the creator of the other file. But I was never even involved in the creation of the “Strong Korea” lecture and the creator was Timothy Elder. Today I confirmed that with him. This lecture file was made based on the data that Kook Jin Nim gathered from Youtube and other places, who then gave the direction to Tim Elder to make the lecture file according to his orders. I was not involved in the creation process of that file in any way. Just by that fact alone one can see how UPF director Dongwon Jung’s content is false and lies.
Since last Saturday until today in the morning, without discriminating night, day and resting days, I have been focusing on matters related to the Yeouido court case and working with the lawyers of the law firm on witness testimonies so I couldn’t answer each and every one of UPF director Jung’s phone calls. Why would I be afraid of claims that are not even true that I would hide from [him]?
Now that Father is leaving Korea emphasizing to us to forgive and harmonize, why did UPF Director Jung exercise this violence upon the Unification Church Foundation’s people without even checking with us. I am suspicious of his real motivation.
Dear brothers and sisters, it is I who have become the victim of a tremendous defamation of honor due to UPF Director Dongwon Jung’s false and distorted letter. Who will repay me for my pain and my injury? I’m asking who will be responsible for this.
There’s not much time left till January 13, 2013. There’s no time for this. I think it’s time to focus on the original position each one of us has and do our best and have a victory. Leaders, members, I wish God and True Parents’ love and grace will always be with you. Thank you.
